2010, here we are!
As you can see I have changed around the format of the site, made it a bit more...BETTER. Basically I was getting stuck with the old blog and where it was going so in honour of my News Year Resolution 'Thou shalt be more organised', I thought my Blog would be a good start.
Products wise I am still producing and selling the hairbands (which you can see in the products section). I have to re-sew half of the designs I got produced at the end of last year for the A/W range. I was not happy with how a lot of the skirts came out when I got them sent to me, and the other things which did come out to my liking were snatched up straight away like The Purple kimono print dresses, which I still have in Black and Blue (see products.)
Other than that things are going well. I have dedicated some time out especially for 'CREATIVITY', as lame as that sounds it has been great just to concentrate on getting inspired and practicing my drawing, sewing, styling and photography...so hopefully you can see how I progress when I put some examples up.
The blog is going to be way more personal, with insights into what makes me tick as well as updates to Bamboo clothes and products. One thing I will be featuring more on are the charitable projects that I am involved with or have come in to contact with, like Compassion, Vision Rescue and Invisble Children. You can find links to their sites on the Useful links section. I am going to try my best to promote an aspect of awareness and giving, though we can't do everything, everybody can so SOMETHING.
The blog is interactive too so I would LOVE LOVE LOVE comments, feedback, love not hate and your objective opinions! So comment away, especially so I know I am not writing to no one...except my Mama who I know will read this :)
Thats it for now. Future posts and updates will definately not be as formal, but I guess for numero uno it has to be done.
