The shoot I was working on last week is finally up here!  You might remember the behind the scenes of this shoot, the end results have come out fantastically and I am super proud!  Go team.

Can you have art crushes?  I know it is true you can have voice crushes (ask my best friend, and the case of the 'swedish' podcast) or 'OMG he plays the guitar' crushes and definitely camera crushes like my previous post on Ann He, but though potentially weird, I totally have a doodle crush!  The object of my sharpie, pucca, edding pen crush is an artist called Serge Seidlitz!

I did a previous DIY of a RINGCLET (Ring & Bracelet) after being inspired by seeing something on Manrepellar.  Well I have been thinking about making this cut out shoulder shirt for sometime and never got round to it.  It's a look and style thats been around on a few style blogs for a while, and seen on collections like Nastygal and Chole Sevigny's collaboration with Band of Outsiders.  When I finally did I knew that this would be a good chance to do another DIY post.  I attempted this whole cut off shoulder thing with a tie dye tee a few months ago and wore it here and there, mostly at home as I never got round to sewing the edges so looked a bit budget.  Anyhoo, I digress...welcome to the step by step guide of making your own CUT OUT SHOULDER SHIRT.

Awesome.  Solange Knowles personal blog is back!  There was an old blog of hers I used to follow and in terms of her music I am not the hugest fan BUT I love her style!  I used to love how she put her outfits together and mix in the whole ethnic vibe when making personal appearences.  I recall one stunning yellow kimono looking wrap dress that I just covetted.  Her new blog is photograph heavy of little things she sees here and there, and there are some really cool behind the scene shots of her sister Beyonce's video for PARTY.  Click on the image above to see her blog yourself.  I can't wait for more updates.

In my last post I was pining away for the sunshine, to wear a swimsuit and to basically look like a guapa Brazilian.  Though after sifting through the interwebs I came across this lovely winter beauty shoot.  I am basically loving the dark eyebrows, the shimmery silvers and purples and the really dark and deep near black tresses.  These may slightly make me more excited for those winter months, all I need now is an Eskimo hood.Thanks Vogue China for always bringing it!
