While I was there I got to see how much goes into preparing events suchs as these, and as the set up was more or less like any other gig for any type of artist has made me see things slightly in a different light. Things included car runs to pick up guests from hotels, filling up the cars with gas, trips to Asda and Ikea for hospitaity areas, setting up lamps and food in the green room, loading and unloading equipment into Vans and even folding Tshirts in the Merch areas. You can see that a lot of money goes into making this all happen too, but it was great as for this one we had so many volunteers from the drivers, to the hosts on the doors.
