This model is actually one of the most beautiful people in the world in my opinion. So stunning. Photos: Nastygal.com/lookbooks

Photo: Vintage Babe There are so many blogs out there and more specifically personal style ones. I personally have not delved into the world of personal style posts, though who knows, in the future I may introduce that. I do have an overflowing wardrobe which I hear is a plus for these things. I love these sort of posts but there are definitely Good ones and Bad ones out there. For me, a good camera, an interesting location, an outfit that looks like the blogger would actually wear it everyday and most of all CHARACTER is what makes me enjoy sifting through ones site. Sometimes I like to follow posters who have similarities to myself (as you can see from the numerous long hair brunettes), or bloggers who I think dress fantastically for themselves though I would maybe never wear anything like what they do. Here is a quick round up of all the Personal style sites that I check consistently: Gabi Fresh, the Queen of plaus size/curvy girl fashion. SHE IS AMAZING. Color Me Nana, stylist based in Philadelphia. Nails the hippie vibe without looking contrived. Sincerly Jules, Californian brand ambassador and writer. Fun sunshine girls looks. Natalie Off Duty, NYC based model who is the perfect mix of vintage and rock n roll. Man Repellar. Mixing designer threads and COMEDY! My Damn Blog. Solange Knowles. Though not specifically a Personal Style Blog, she posts personal pics and she has style so... Click on the blogger to go to their sites! All photos directly from Bloggers Sites.
The Pixel Painter from The Pixel Painter on Vimeo. I loveVimeo staff picks. They really highlight and showcase some real talent, not just from the film malkers themselves but within the subject content too. The wonderful video The Pixel Painter is about 97 year old retired Graphic Designer Hal Lasko, who once given a Computer from his Grandchildren learnt how to paint wonderful pieces of Art on Microsoft Paint. What an inspiration showing that talent and passion for your craft never leaves you, no matter how old you get. It also shows that you are never too old to learn something wonderful that could change your life immensely. Go Grandpa!
Photo, Harpers Mexico via: FGR Mellow Yellow Fabello. That's me. I love yellow so much and think it is a beautiful colour to wear. As the sun is shining and we are in the full midst of wedding season, I have been scouring the streets and web for a perfect Yellow Maxi dress...that will suit shorties. Anyone know of any? Wedding attire aside, I actually could be happy with 85% of my wardrobe having some form of yellow on it and you know what, it is feasible! Look at all these beautiful yellow outfits! From designer gowns from Ellie Saab to Beyonce's African casual number, yellow is THE ONE. What else is the one in it's own way, THIS, a gorgeous Stella McCartney lace and Fringe dress. Swoon. Do you guys feel like this with any other colour? Pictures via Pinterest "Yellow Fashion"
Hi all, I have added my blog to Bloglovin' so please add me to your Blogroll readers if you already use this! xx
Summer has hit London Town and it is GLORIOUS! I actually get to wear shorts! Yipeeeeeeee! These past few weeks I have been busy at work but also busy with LIFE, with weddings to attend, dancing to JT and Jay Z at the Wireless festival and seeing babies to name a few. Let's hope this weather continues for a long time. :)
All Images for Gala Magazine via FGR I am a super fan of crossed genres so this shoot from German publication Gala was right up my alley. Stylists Alexx and Anton nail this 'new grunge' aesthetic right on it's head integrating classic grunge signatures such as plaid and oversize layering with pretty coloured florals; and luxurious fabrics such as lace and faux fur. DM boots and chucks adorning the feet set this look off perfectly.
Hola! It has been a while since I posted something, and this is actually my first post as a (eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep) 27 year old!! As my last Photoset showed, I had a blast with my friends just hanging out in my back garden. It was a simple affair with lots of laughs, and lots of food. Recently I have been thinking a lot about my blog. I think I mentioned previously that after attending the Company Magazine Blog awards that a revamp or some investment needed to be made to push it forward in the right direction. That being said I have been reading a fantastic book that my boyfriend got me for my birthday called Blog Inc written by Joy Cho of the amazing and successful Oh Joy! blog. This little book is such a great tool for inspiring the blogging world, really hitting home that blogs can be about anything that you want. Obviously there are keys to making them engaging and visually appealing which the book touches on too and with that I decided to...wait for it...book myself on to this awesomely fun blog and photoshop course called Blogshop. The teachers of this course are part of one of my favourite blogs Design Lovefest and Angela&Ithyle, bringing together graphics design and photography. The courses are mostly held in America but they have visited London a few times which is awesome...HOWEVER...I am not attending their next course here at home but going to...................................... ....yup! After returning from Paris I was itching to book somewhere else to go. I was heavily leaning toward Barcelona (and that may still be on the cards at some point before the year is out) but when I saw that the Blogshop course was running in Stockie and was the only place in Europe that was on the listing I thought "Why the dickins not!" So within no time I paid for my admission, found some decent places to stay, scoped the flights AND managed to get 3 others to come with me to make it a full city break. So the end of September I will be enjoying the Scandinavian sites and learning some good know how of the Blog world. I am really excited!
