Catch you in 2014!!!! xx
Wishing you all a very blessed Christmas! Enjoy the fun and festivities with your loved ones, may it be filled with so much warmth and laughter. May we also think of the many who for whatever reason find this season a struggling time and are less fortunate. What can we all do in the coming year to help those in need and to remember of all the amazing things in our lives that we may take for granted.
Catch you in 2014!!!! xx

Every year, this gripe of mine never ceases to come around. Winter styling ideas that are in every Magazine and on every Fashion website always present Winter looks without TIGHTS! Admittedly they do kill a look but it just really isn't practical when wanting to wear IRL (In Real Life, yeh?). For me the solution to this, on a cold night out is...10 DENIER tights. They are pretty 80s but they weirdly still give some warmth though super thin, and show enough leg to be shmexy. Here is a collection via Never Under Dressed of some cutie pies rocking the 10 den which may inspire you to pick up a pair or 5! (The do run the risk of snagging).
Photo: From the film Funny Face Six months haven't even passed and I happened to find myself walking through the streets of Paris again. My Wifey Jo has been working at the offices of Chanel since September and I decided to pay her a visit. Not only did the weekend do her good to see a familiar face, but for me it was a nice time to just relax and enjoy having a real weekend off not filled with other jobs, organizing the wedding or wasting it away in front of Netflix. I had a ball of a time. I was walking alone for most of Friday as Jo had to work but the me time so was precious and serene. I like my own company which some people find difficult for themselves. I passed some serious iconic landmarks, kicking through the brown leaves and even took some time to visit a museum and sketch a little. When Jo was free the rest of the weekend consisted of more walking, eating plenty of cheese, drinking red wine and finding the Kenzo store to by my New Era cap. The cost to travel there from London was cheap as chips too as I decided to take the 8hr bus which is long but still pleasant especially when you can sleep for most of it. Travel once there is pretty good too as firstly you can actually walk to most places as Paris is quite small, but the cost of a bundle of 10 single tickets is not costly either! I have grouped some of the little things that may interest any of you guys reading this if planning on visiting there any time soon. It really is a must see place. Bisous Paris, til next time. 1. Musee de Quai Branly. I spent 3 hours looking through their Asian, Oceanic, African and Americas collections. They have impressive statues, fabrics, costumes and paintings from each region. It is full of multimedia too with videos and interviews played throughout. A stunning edit of pieces on show there. 2. Eurolines! I spend £50 quid return, thats cheaper then going up North! If planned correcly, you can fall asleep in Central London and wake up in the centre of Paris. 3. Cafe Lomi. A new coffee joint a found near to my friend's flat. I had a nice Rwandan filter and it was clean and crisp. It is located north of Gare du Nord. 4. Au P'Tit Grec. THE BEST CREPES EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5. Ten Belles, an old favourite Coffee spot with some pretty tasty baked goods located off Canal St Martin. 6. Hotel du Nord. Swanky Restaurant with a chic bar with some potent Cocktails on offer. Click the photos for more more info. Holler!! Golly, my days and evenings have been quit busy as of late. As you all know I do love a shoot and use my spare time involving myself in projects that get my creative juices flowing. It mostly started as being interested in photography then through that branched out into photo editing, graphic design and set designing. Even just yesterday I found myself assisting in some video camera work! Doing this sort of stuff really makes me happy, so let me share what some of these projects are. As longer readers of my blog know, I collaborate a bit with my dearest friend's brand Benjart Clothing. This is us on set shooting some of their new collection. Let me tell you, photographing a tshirt can be quite tricky some times! You really need to style it right, keep an eye out for wrinkles, make sure the details are sharp and that most things look symmetrical. My Fiance has a Video Product company called Pinyata and they specialize in creating video content for all types of clients, many being charities. I helped them recently in prop design for a scene in an Anti Bullying campaign they were filming. Looks pretty sweet, huh? Lastly, I love a good old look book shoot. I have done some similar projects before which you can see here. This image above was for the 25+ Community at my Church. The ministry Velocity have some products designed by some talented cats part of the church that are on sale at events. Chris and I worked together again on this. More of the photos from this shoot can be found at the Velocity FB page.
Like I said before, I am all about shizz like this. If you are interested in collaborating on a project hit me up on the contacts page and we could possibly work together in 2014! |
