Here is a little sneaky sneak into my brain right now. Still trying to work out different elements to the collection and I have been leaning towards vintage holiday posters as a theme for my tshirts. Just an idea for now but a very strong one. I really like the vibrancy of the colours but still figuring out how I will actually want the design. After buying my flight, and starting the planning the excitement is really starting to kick in, but also the nerves. So much to sort out before I go, eeek! That also leads me to another point...but I will talk about that another time...

Photo: by Mr Pinyata Design: The Bamboo District You know those moments of self awareness, a realization of your habits and character? Well this particular one of mine I have known about for some time now but it isn't until I saw it all in visual form that makes me see how funny it all is. You see everyone, My name is Natalie and...I AM A FOODAHOLIC. Feel free to ask me on foodie dates. I would totally go. Seriously.
Image: Tim Walker Design: The Bamboo District I have been meaning to post this for an 'Envy' for some time now, Undeniable how beautiful these photos are. Just perfect in every way. This is a good example of fashion collaborating with other industries as I am now sure the amount of people now wanting to visit Mongolia has increased.
Image: The Bamboo District Seems I can not keep away from B Town. 4th time this year. I think it is the short 45min journey on the train from Clapham Junction that does it. Anyyway, to continue a relatively new tradition (in it's second year now) the boy and I take one day out away from the busy streets of London leading up to Christmas and do some Christmas shopping there. Brighton is great for thrift and vintage finds, clothes that can be easily found in East London but with less tat. Also, what is even better is that you can get stuff around 20% cheaper (second hand wise) than in London. Whoop! Oh hello there! The day started out with The Boy being cheeky and telling me my hands looked dry, but then resulted in me getting a hand massage, yuss! Blue eyes. Brown eyes. Frooooty Don't let me go Boombox and Cassette tape? Hello 1990! Rudolph, who is your red friend we have here? SHOPPING "Which vintage black leather handbag should I get? So many to choose from!" BIG BOBBLE!!!! HeHeHe Action! I wonder if they are pretending it's summer in their film. Those elbows must be freezing! Hey there handsome. You want my number? Gutted for you if you have ever been taken here for a date... Gwan Grandpas with yo' bad selves. Bebe booties. From old to young... PM Pig. What? You are telling me Mexican Souvenirs aren't normally popular in Brighton? Strange. Fittie and Food. Double winnage! Poor tyke felt sleepy. TIme to go home!
Can I have your attention please? Great, now that I have it I will introduce to you my Wales photo snaps. Last month this tropical Bamboo Mama went into the British countryside to hang out with the sheep and hay bales. Spending time with our new extended family (my brother in laws family) we stayed in Mum and Dad Jones' listed farm house, rooms filled with masses of exitable children (some all the way from Germany) enjoying fry up breakfasts, Abba covers from the kids and good wine.
