Some of my favourite looks from my fave designer
The SS17 ready to wear that was shown at Paris Fashion Week today was a nice reminder of why I like DVN. It seems to grow as I grow, and as their S/S offerings are more to my tastes than F/W this collection seems to straddle the line between the two seasons. Maybe this is due to the trend that many designers are 'show now buy now' making the fashion season calendar all over the shop. Mustard/Chartreuse, Olives, Blacks and Dark Blues strutted down the runways lined by Flower bouquets in ice blocks by Azuma Makoto that melted as the show progressed, reflecting the thawing of the winter to the bloom of florals adorned on the majority of the pieces in the collection.
Long line jackets, lengthened bombers, maxi and midi dresses highlight the sophistication of the collection but still be youthful enough for the fashionista in her twenties. You can look at the full collection here but I will leave some of my favourites below.
