The Boy and the Pyramid
Til next time.
The Boy and the Pyramid A couple of days in to my Mexican adventure...so far so great, though my face is a little red from the sun...not a good look. Enjoy the pic of the boy jumping, this is taken at the Pyramids that have a long name which I can't remember, though I know that this particular one behind him is the Moon one.
Til next time.

New Products...
Well I have been making these for a while unofficially but, you can hit me up for a custom bow! Check the products and gallery section for details how to get in on this. Thanks to my lovely models Jessie and Gillian for being such beautiful sports. I love photos, however I can't say I have the same love of physically taking them. The more techinical side like lighting and shutter speeds, etc is not my thing. What I do really like is post processing a photo. It can totally change the look of an image, enhance it to capture the full moment and atmosphere that it was taken in, or just basically make a unusable photo, usable. So here is a little before and after for you all. AfterIt's the LAST DAY! I was thinking of doing this style all week and I thought it would be fitting for the final farewell to 'The Hair diaries'. This look has been the bane of my...last few years. I have always wanted to incorporate it to my everyday look but my damn fringe was not having any of it. Though today I persevered and pinned and sprayed to try...The Roll.
The penultimate day left in this week's Hair diaries. I will miss the fun trying all these looks has brought, but one thing for sure is that I will not miss the extra 20-30mins it takes to get ready for work, trying to get this all looking half decent. Today's look is in homage to my ultimate desire to have big huge hair...like Afro big! Alas, that I was not blessed with so my sporadic trips to the salon and convince my friends there to tong my hair had to fill the void. So today I present to you...The BIG Hair...with a parting.
Always a favourite of mine, and one of the things that confirm that growing out my hair long was a good idea. Today's hairstyle is...The Side Braid.
So all of yesterday, in the back of my mind I was thinking about what I should do for today's hairstyle. It definately was going to be a 'down do' as I needed to wash my hair but what could I do not to make it boring. Then, POP, I thought of it. Today will be...the Bettie Page.
In one of my past lives I used to work in a hair salon, well actually it was just a year ago and it was one of the best places I worked. One thing for sure was that my hair always looked bomb. The 2 and half years I was there was the best place to be when trying to grow out a youthful punky disposition which physically manifested itself into a layered bob with an undercut. Sitting at the reception and running around doing salon checks meant getting exposed to the process of how to do all these cool hairstyles and see how they were created. I was also blessed in the fact that in my lunchbreaks or if stylists had a quiet day I could get my hair done by some of the best in the industry. Not bragging but who else could say that the same stylist who has done my hair has tended to the likes of Natalie Portman, Kate Moss and Agnes Deyn, not many!
So anyway, back to now. Well with that under my belt I thought I would revive my love of the 'hairstyle'. My new office doesn't quite lend itself to inspiring me to toussel, crimp or curl as much as it did then so admittedly my now super long hair has just gone to the wayside. I kid myself and say it's the beach girl, just got out of bed style but it's just laziness. So this week, starting Monday 7th Feb 2011, I will be styling my hair each day inspired by a fashionable hair trend. So far day one has been successful. Today we have...The ballerina bun. I was browsing through the masses of photos I have stored on my laptop and I came across a random shoot I did with my sister and Wifey Jo. Running around the mean East end streets on London armed with sparklers and balloons we ended up with this...
