10 finger nails. 10 canvases. 10 shades of red (well actually, 5 x 2) to paint them. Why not try this cute nail trend. I usually use Barry M as they have a nice range of colours and aren't expensive at all. Remember to always start with a base coat and to end with a top coat so they last.

Photos stolen from: Sue I/Chris/Benny's Instagrams One of the many reason's why I can not part with London Town in favour of another British city is the choices of great places to eat. This week, joined by my posse of Sue I (Queen of the food date), Chris (the Boy) and Benny (getting hitched on Monday) we sampled the delights of popular restaurant Burger and Lobster. Their first and main restaurant in Mayfair is always packed and you look at 2hr waiting times, but the newly opened Dean Street branched saw us seated straight away. We did however get their keenly early and by the time we left the waiting area was full! Price wise it is a bit steep if you actually think of it, it's £20 for a set meal of three choices; Burger, Lobster whole or a Lobster roll. If you go for a burger I can see why you would grumble but the atmosphere and the lobster are worth it. I opted for the lobster roll as the effort to start cracking shells was non existent. It was delicious! Fresh lobster meat nestled inside a toasted homemade brioche bun covered in a Japanese style mayo was a flavour party in my mouth. It came with a melted garlic butter sauce, skinny fries and a nice crouton and parmesan salad. Apparently the salad and the fries were unlimited but I was soooo full that I didn't even need to ask. If you find your self in Mayfair or the Dean Street area of London and want a little treat, seriously check this place out!
Photo: Here The Sun is out, the Hawaiian Shirt is on, the Al fresco cocktails are organized. Now let's enjoy this heat. Woooha!
Pics and Design: The Bamboo District This is another addition of my Step by Step series that I started with something I call THE FUN BUN. This time around I am reverting back to my old hair days when I had a serious set of bangs/fringe. I decided to grow them out after having them for around 10years, and though I am fairly happy with that decision there are days when I really do miss them. However, if my heart pines for retro Betty Page bangs then the scissors are not needed. Hooray! If you have no fringe, or grown out bangs from chin length down, then you can try it out too. Once done, draw on some cat inspired eyeliner for the whole pin up look. 1: Hello girl with a center parting and without a short fringe.
2: Hello girl holding a hair donut that you can get from most drugstores and hair shops. 3: Hello girl cutting the hair donut once to make a cylinder puff thing. 4: Hello girl sectioning the fringe area and brushing the hair forward over her face. 5: Hello girl who is holding the tip of the hair used for the fringe in one hand, and using the other hand to hold the hair cylinder which the hair is then wrapped around once. 6: Hello girl who is now rolling the cylinder with both hands up towards the root of the hair. 7: Hello girl and millions of bobby pins and U-pins who is securing the roll to the head. 8: Hello girl and a can of hair spray and a brush, cleaning away any loose hairs flying about. DONE! I have managed to pull my finger out and organize some sort of online store for The Bamboo District. Online are the shorts and some other little bits, more to come so keep checking the site!!!
Birthday fun to Chichester stalking actor/tap dancer Adam Garcia, sister birthday fun in a dusty waste ground and Sam & Sally wedding fun in the soggy beautiful grounds of East Sussex. Thank you June and July for housing some enjoyable times let's have more por favor con sunshine.
Images: Betty White & CDs This weekend will reflect the past week at my office, rotating between these three albums. Frank Ocean's Channel Orange and Nas' Life is Good aren't out yet but if you are fans seriously go buy them when released later next week. London's silky smooth Lianne La Havas' album is finally out too (thanks Jools Holland for showcasing this lovely) so cop that too! The artists have released streams of their records so have a listen now!
Yet another gloomy day is stretching over London Town. I managed to stroll back from the gym to my desk in the 5 mins of dryness given before a torrential spell drenched many a pedestrian. Seriously, what is going on. It is JULY! However it doesn't feel like the July's I used to have when I was a kid collecting ladybirds with the other kids on the street. I am begging for the sun, the tan, the sunsets! I am not sure it helps looking at pictures of tanned beauties but either way, how beautiful are the above images. Stunning!
