The stars of the shoot definitely have to be the modern styling and the beautiful Hanboks. The edgy and quirky accessorising adorning the traditional threads of many colours, all to the background of this great location is truly breathtaking. Apart from the name of the photographer my research has left me a little stumped as to who the additional team were (being written in Korean and all) but I really want to credit & acknowledge them so if you happen to know, please send me the info.
Photo:Kang Hye-Won for Vogue Korea 2013 I keep mentioning my upcoming travels, and though NYC is over and I'm writing this from London we still have the Asian and European legs to look forward to. Hoorah! One place on the itinerary is SEOUL and I am so freaking excited! Not only do some of my dearest friends hail from there (some real good peoples) and their food is drool worthy (bibimbap, anyone?) their style/fashion is so on point it hurts. I've posted content from Vogue Girl Korea before, also posted about their street style and recently started following this cool (south/republic of )Korean Style Insta called GarbageLapsap; so as you can see, the love affair is real. Therefore I was extremely happy to find this absolutely GORGEOUS editorial in Vogue Korea from 2013 from Ogh Sang-Sun. The title image is from a separate editorial by Kang Hye-won, again for Vogue Korea which you can see here.

Photo by Chris Martinez @ Pinyata It's been quiet here on el Blog for a moment, as I've been away to New York City. The last time I visited the big apple was in 2009 for Chris and my one year anniversary. Oh how time flies eh? After that trip I put a self imposed ban on myself from visiting there again until five years had passed. You see, since I was younger I always went there. The flights were reasonable, I had family and friends to stay with and the dollar was weak so my money went far. I experienced so many cool moments there, spent the summer of my 21st Birthday running the streets and avenues, and did all the cool things this intense place had to offer. However, I told myself to see more of the world, and I did. What brought me back to New York was a wedding! Yes another one :) Chris and I extended our time there to catch up with family, and to see Boston. We also had the time to do that as....I quit my office job! I mentioned in an earlier post that I will be doing way more travelling this year, running around the globe with my husband and that is what we are doing, So New York was the first stop on our tour coined #mexipino2015 which will also include HK, Philippines, Seoul, Viet, Barcelona and Denmark. If you click on the hashtag there are some photos from Instagram on there but I will write again a more in depth post with some photos taken by my man. I took photos on my phone and woe to me my SD card corrupted wiping three years of media off my phone.
GAH!! x If you follow me on Instagram then you might have started to see a pattern emerging every Saturday which is my #saturdayselfie posts. Follow me on the gram if you don't already for more everyday tings a gwan in the world of Mama Bamboo! Or don't. :)
