Happy Friday!!! And what better way to kick it off than to post this super cute, playful and energetic shoot from Elle France. Models Ataui Deng and Marihenny Rivera wear vibrant hues in boyish cuts...seems I can not get enough of this style. These girls are amazing and I just love the sweetness and strength of this editorial which photographer Simon Burstall gets mad props for. Dear Fashion world, more shoots should be like this for sure...please. Shot by Simon Burstall via FGR

Doodles by Moi Yeowzers, I haven't posted in a while. I have been a busy bee enjoying London life, helping my older sister move to Peckham and doing a little illustration project for a friend, hence the pic above! I do enjoy a doodle here and there and really enjoyed the images I produced so I thought I would share them. They were used for some fun vouchers, and it got me thinking about making some cool cards for Christmas for my family and friends...let's see if I actually get round to it.
Picture from ASOS.COM "I think you would like my outfit today, it screams 70's Californian skater boy; you know the kind with long hair" - That was a quote by me sending a WhatsApp to one of my friends. You see, I have been realising that I have been looking a little boyish, but I love it! On that stream of thought I have found some other looks 'taken from the boys' which I adore and will copy. Though the clothes themselves are for boys mostly, the femininity that a woman brings to it makes it cool and sexy and who doesn't like that! I quite like 'laid back sports' boy, 'countryside/lumberjack' boy and 'teddy' boy, those are the names I have given the different types of looks you can have. So to the wardrobes of our husbands/boyfriends/brothers/cousins/friends we goooooooooooo. Pictures via Pinterest search 'Tomboy'
Photography by Josh Olins I have brought it back with a classic for this Editorial Envy. The gorgeous Goddess that is Lakshmi Menon seriously giving some strong face, working that long straight black weave and just basically being amazing. Shot by Josh Olins and styled by Nicola Formichetti (yes of Gaga fame) this shoot is definitely as modern classic.
Oooh yeh! Another work week coming to a close and today I thought I'd share this outfit of mine for this week. Winter wear at it's cosiest and quite cute too in my opinion. I love this fake fur hat from Uni Qlo that makes me feel super Anastasia like...now, where to find my Russian Royal family. The majority of it all is standard high street, I recently bought a pair of simple heeled Chelsea boots from Primark which I have lived in since. The scarf however I bought in LA in a thrift store called Jet Rag, I think it is one of the more popular ones there...on that particular visit I happened to see WiIl.I.Am from the Black Eye Peas there looking for motor cycle jackets! Star spot! The shirt I am wearing under the black jumper is a very special shirt, it was my late Lolo's (grandpa in filipino) shirt and my mum brought it back for me when she came back from the Philippines after his funeral two years ago. I asked for something of his and she brought this back and she knew I would love the print, you can't see it here but it's black with white and red sombreros! He was a cool cat, and I can try and be cool like him too every time I put it on.
