Winter head wrap anyone?
The dreaded Autumn is looming and design wise we at the Bamboo hut get a little quiet as translating our sunny vibe becomes difficult. Well in terms accessories this isn't much the case, the original idea of the knotted headband was conceived in the artic cold of London circa Dec 2009, and is still very popular to date...
This is still one of my favourite photos I have ever taken. Probably due to the undeniable photogenic wowness of my friends. I have been spending the day googling old 1960s European cinema so have felt all nostaligic with the photo colouring.
For now I will say Happy Bank holiday to you all in the UK, or happy weekend in general. Go on, go spend it with some friends. I on the other hand will be off to the Wales hills with the FamBam! Moooo.

This is when I wish I can understand Tagalog. Perusing some Filipino fashion blogs I can across this beauty...Manang!
The phrase 'Manang' is a Fili term given to an older female relative. I wonder whose relative she is, but in the following photos there is not doubt she is kinda cool and awesome. Applause for the left field direction of these shoots and subjects, which I am not quite used to when looking at generic Filipino fashion stuff. Hooray!
Exploring the relationship between brand and consumer. Speaking to 10 influencial people in the modern fashion, branding, media, photography, marketing and design culture. Looking forward to watching the full thing.

Here is a picture of the town my Mama grew up in the Philippines. This is her street, and this is the street where my Lola lives. I love coming here, it's so different to London life. I am having pangs of missing it...I shall see you soon oh beautiful town!
Pictures from my 2 month 09' trip
It's been a few days since I have updated but it just means that I have been busy creating even more fun times that I can post for you all. One thing that I have been doing a bit of which I mentioned in the past was that I was going to be doing some more hairstyling. Saturday and even last night saw me burning my fingers on hot rollers and tongs, prepping for a Magnify UK shoot. Below are some of the images for a Blog post, which you can read on the Magnify Musings blog (www.magnifyuk.com/revv).
