It feels like a freakin deakin long time since I have posted up on here. I guess it is due to many reasons, firstly; yup Wedding planning. I know I have been harping on about it for a while now but guess what? IT IS SO SOON! I fly out to Mexico next week, and then the week after that it's the big day. Secondly, there hasn't been any good bite sized content I wanted to write about. No WebWatch, no Editorial Envy, nada. If there was something I found remotely interesting it wasn't anything good enough to share with you guys on this space. Thirdly, I really wanted to post these Paris photos but it took so darn long getting round to editing them. A little VSCO love here and there through my phone app and viola! They are ready for your beautiful eyes to see. Paris. Not a venture far or new but I love it there so much. I also really love it when you are with some awesome friends, who want to do the same things as you (like eat bread and drink red wine) and aren't on a super tight budget. This trip I was joined by my sister Krys (the sleeping beauty below), my friends Faith and Yemi, and met up with my Wifey for Lifey Jo who currently works at Chanel (you fancy huh). As much as I have championed the overnight bus in the past, the 2 hr Eurostar is way more comfortable and time saving. We left at 5.30am, slept and woke up in time for breakfast....which was Coffee and cake, haha. First stop Fondation near Republique. After caffeine and carbs we walked across to our Air BnB apartment. It was an awesome one bedroom and sofa bed living room at the bottom of Canal st Martin, owned by a couple who telling from the decor were well traveled and just basically cool. All we kept saying to each other was "I wish this was my life." In addition to eating out we ate a lot here too and drank good wine bought from the supermarket across the road. The location of the place was too perfect.
